Bir Billing in June

Timing changes everything in Bir Billing. June sits in the extreme heat into pre-monsoon of the North India calendar, the kind of month that defines what you get from the trip more than any other variable, including the stay choice. We've architected Bir Billing missions in every month; here is exactly what June delivers and how we work it.

The prime paragliding seasons are autumn (roughly mid-October to November) and spring (March to May), when skies are clear and thermals stable; autumn is generally considered the finest for flying. Winter (December to February) is cold and flying is often suspended, though the monasteries and tea gardens remain lovely. The monsoon (July to September) grounds most flights and brings heavy rain, but greens the valley beautifully. Flights are weather-dependent and always at the pilot's discretion, which we make clear when scheduling.

For June specifically: Workable only for travellers fixed to summer dates. The standard Bir Billing architecture (india's paragliding capital) is preserved; the day-pacing is rebuilt around this month's conditions.
