Operational Itinerary
Tactical Phase 1
Delhi arrival. Afternoon at Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb.
Tactical Phase 2
Delhi-Leh flight (1 hr). Mandatory 24-hr acclimatisation at 3,500 m.
Tactical Phase 3
Leh — Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Sankar Monastery. Continued acclimatisation.
Tactical Phase 4
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (18,380 ft). Diskit Monastery, Bactrian camel ride at Hunder dunes.
Tactical Phase 5
Nubra Valley — Turtuk village near Pakistan border, Panamik hot springs.
Tactical Phase 6
Drive back to Leh via Khardung La. Rest day.
Tactical Phase 7
Leh to Pangong Tso (4,350 m) via Chang La. Stay lakeside.
Tactical Phase 8
Pangong sunrise. Drive back to Leh via Chang La.
Tactical Phase 9
Leh — Hemis Monastery (largest in Ladakh), Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace.
Tactical Phase 10
Leh-Delhi flight. Onward departure.
